Making a chart
The astronomical chart calculation runs in your browser. Birth details are not added to public page addresses or shared with other visitors. The birthplace search retrieves public city data. Hosting infrastructure receives ordinary request information, such as your IP address, when serving the site and its assets.
Keeping your work
If you sign in with saving access, the Studio can save birth details, chart settings and the notes, places or moments you choose to keep in your account. New cloud saves are part of the lifetime edition. Previously saved records remain available to their account after an unlock ends. Account records are checked against the signed-in user. Do not enter another person’s details without permission.
“Remember my last chart on this device” is optional and stores one chart in this browser. Appearance preferences also use browser storage. Temporary comparison charts remain in page memory. During an account or checkout redirect, the current chart is kept in session storage so you can return to it. Downloads contain the chart details you export; keep them private.
Accounts and messages
Email accounts store a name, email address and a password hash. Secure session cookies keep you signed in. Passwords are not stored in plain text. When account-recovery email is enabled, Resend receives your email address and the recovery message. Private commissioned-reading portals use a separate password and access cookie.
Payments
Stripe hosts payment entry. Stripe receives your account email and purchase identifiers. Birth dates, times, locations and chart notes are not sent to Stripe by our checkout code. Starry Bodies stores a purchase identifier and status to restore access and handle refunds or disputes. It does not store your card number. For Managed Payments purchases, Link provides receipts and transaction support under its own privacy practices.
Feedback, exports and deletion
Feedback you explicitly submit is shared with Starry Bodies. Your private notebook is separate from that feedback. The Studio offers chart downloads and notebook backup tools. You can delete your own notebook entries in the Studio. For deletion of saved charts, an account or other personal data, email starrybodies@gmail.com from your account email. We will verify ownership before handling a request. Do not post private birth or payment details publicly.
Services the site depends on
The hosted application uses Cloudflare infrastructure through Sites for delivery, account records and private reading files. The site does not add an advertising tracker or sell a public directory of charts. External services such as Calendly, Spotify, Instagram, Substack, Resend and Stripe have their own privacy practices when you open or use them.
